Michelle Hansen joins CCI as outreach scientist

Michelle, a Southern California native, earned her Masters degree from UCSD under the direction of Prof. Cliff Kubiak. She worked with the molecular catalysis group at JCAP researching earth abundant catalysts for the reduction of CO2. Her B.S. degree is from Harvey Mudd College where she performed research on asymmetric hydroamination with Prof. Adam Johnson. Since graduating, Michelle has worked at both the California Science Center and the Griffith Observatory where she is able to share her knowledge and love of science with the public. Her position with CCI utilizes that passion for science and education so that she can help the scientists in the group share their research on solar energy with a broader community.
