|Tanvi Ratani did her undergraduate work at the University of Michigan with Prof. Raoul Kopelman and Prof. Nate Szymczak. Her work in the Szymczak group used pi-basic W and Mo complexes for potential activation of borazine. This is what encouraged her to go into inorganic chemistry, |
She is now a fourth year graduate student in Jonas Peters' group. She has focused on mechanistic work of photocatalytic reactions photoinduced, copper-catalyzed C-C and C-N bond formation reactions. She is currently working on photocatalytic nitrite reduction on a Co electron relay. She has a NSF Fellowship.
